A recipe for very tasty, fragrant and delicate croissants, perfect for a tea or coffee break.

This recipe is made from sourdough with sour cream, without yeast. As a filling you can use whatever you like, for example jam, jam, berries, poppy seeds or cottage cheese, according to retete-usoare.eu.

INGREDIENT:

– 500 g of flour;

– 200 g of butter (can be replaced with margarine);

– 200 g of fermented cream with any fat content;

– 100 g of sugar;

– half a teaspoon of baking soda;

– 1 teaspoon of vinegar (apple or regular, 9%);

– solid jam for the filling (we have raspberries and pumpkin).

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Add the butter to a saucepan and melt over medium heat. You can also do this in the microwave. But be careful not to overheat it.

2. Add the melted butter and cream to a bowl and stir together.

3. Extinguish baking soda with a teaspoon of vinegar and add to the bowl. Stir.

4. Gradually add the flour, stirring with a spatula. When the dough starts to solidify, continue to knead it with your hands.

5. Divide the dough into six equal parts. Shape them into balls.

6. Working on a floured surface, spread each ball into a thin, round sheet about 1-2 mm thick.

7. Divide each sheet into 8 sectors (or 12 sectors, if you like smaller croissants).

8. Place the filling (jam) at the wider edge of each sector, then roll it into a croissant and soak it in sugar.

9. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ° C.

10. Remove the tray from the oven and immediately transfer the croissants to a tray (if they cool, it will be harder to peel off the baking paper).

How is it prepared

Break the eggs into a bowl and cut the bananas into slices. Put the two ingredients in the blender and mix for a while, until you get a homogeneous composition (but not very liquid, do not overdo the mixing time). Using a polish, place the composition in the pan. Turn the heat to medium and let it simmer for 30 seconds. Turn it over for another 30 seconds. Take it out on a plate. Repeat the process until you have completed the entire composition. Serve the pancakes with fruit.
