Latkes or potato pancakes are a light recipe that is prepared by Chanukah (Hanukkah). This preparation is ready in just 40 minutes and does not require many ingredients. We are sure that you have everything you need in the house to prepare them!

Ingredient:

-two potatoes

-an egg

-500 ml oil

-a lemon

-a pinch of salt

-pepper

Method of preparation:

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. Add the lemon juice over the potatoes and mix. Set aside for 15 minutes.

The potatoes drain from the water they left. They need to be slightly squeezed.

Mix with egg, salt and pepper.

Heat the oil. Using a spoon, form small potato pancakes and fry in oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. Latkes must be golden brown. After frying, transfer to a plate on which I put kitchen paper.

Latkes are served as a side dish to various steaks.
