If you’re tired of jam spreads, you can make a delicious fasting dessert on the eve of the Easter holidays. How to prepare the tastiest pancakes. The secret ingredient that gives them the best taste is fruit juice.

  • 300 grams of flour
  • 6 sachets of vanilla sugar / 50 grams of regular sugar
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • 80 grams of oil + a little oil to grease the pan
  • 300 ml water
  • a teaspoon of orange zest
  • 500 ml carbonated mineral water
  • 80 ml fruit juice and carrot

Method of preparation

You can use any type of flour you have at home, but it would be best to use special cake flour. To start, we will put the flour in a bowl, over which we will add the salt.

Then we pour the six sachets of vanilla sugar. I know it sounds like a lot, but this magic powder will add flavor to your pancakes. In addition, they will be more tender and fluffy.

If you don’t have vanilla sugar on hand, you can use 50 grams of regular sugar. Mix everything.

Next, pour the sunflower or rapeseed oil. Be careful not to use 80 grams, not 80 ml of oil. Do not reduce the amount, because otherwise the pancakes will come out much stronger.

Next, pour 300 ml of drinking water and mix the dough using a whisk or mixer for 2 minutes. Because the dough is thicker, the lumps will break much easier.

After homogenizing the pancake peel, add the orange zest and the fruit and carrot juice. In addition to the fact that the pancake dough takes on a pleasant yellow color, the acidity of the fruit and carrot juice will make the dough much more fragile.

Now all you have to do is dilute the composition with mineral water to get the right texture.

Next, we will fry the pancakes on both sides, using a smaller pan, suitable for this dessert.

At the end, the pancakes are served with bananas, bitter chocolate or blueberry jam, cherries or blackberries. Good appetite!
