Grandma’s fasting pancakes are so delicious that you don’t realize they don’t have ‘sweet’ ingredients, like eggs or milk.
Pancakes are a real childhood dessert. And our grandmothers are experts at making the most delicious and fluffy pancakes, even fasting.
– 250 g flour
– 150 ml of mineral water
– 3 tablespoons oil
– half a sachet of vanilla sugar
– a spoon of sugar
– a pinch of salt
– a little ‘walnut-sized’ yeast, according to Grandma’s expression, so that the dough is fluffier.
Method of preparation
Put the flour, salt, sugar, yeast and vanilla sugar in a bowl and mix. Then pour in the oil. After that, add mineral water. You need to get a thick but flowing dough.
Leave the new composition in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes. Grease the pan with oil and bake the pancakes. Take a polish and pour the dough into the pan. By turning the pan, you need to distribute it evenly.
The last step is to put fruit jam of your choice. Good appetite!
Other fasting recipes. How to prepare a tasty and filling falafel!
Nutritionist Cori Grămescu proposes a super tasty and filling Falafel recipe for lunch.
150 g dry chickpeas
50 g chickpea flour
2 tablespoons sesame paste
1 clove of garlic
a tablespoon of olive oil
a tablespoon of water
1 bunch of coriander
ground cumin powder
salt and pepper
How is it prepared
The day before, consider soaking the chickpeas in a large volume of water at room temperature. On the day you make the preparation, rinse them and boil them in boiling water for 1 hour until 1:30. But you can also use 300g canned chickpeas for the quick version. Preheat the oven to 200 ° then make the vegan falafel dough. Mix the chickpeas, garlic, sesame paste, olive oil, flour and water until you get a smooth, but not flowing dough.
Add coriander, cumin, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Make small balls of the obtained composition by hand and place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper. Bake the falafel in the oven until golden, about 15 minutes. Serve them with a little stick and a lettuce.
